Pasta with Zucchini, Cooked Ham, and Edelblu Cream

Ingredients 

  • 1 box of penne or rigatoni pasta

  • Edelblu cream

  • Cooked ham cut into cubes

  • 2 zucchinis

  • Extra-virgin olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • Basil leaves

Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water. Stop one minute before the recommended cooking time. Wash the zucchinis and cut into cubes. Next, in a pan, cook the zucchinis with a dash of olive oil for around 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat and add the cooked ham and the edelblu cream. Drain the pasta and save some of the pasta water. Toss the pasta with the zucchinis, ham and cheese, and the pasta water. Serve garnished with fresh basil and, if desired, a sprinkle of pepper.
